Almond Chutney Recipe: Follow These 4 Steps Only

Ingredients

1/2 cup of almonds 3-4 Kashmiri red chillies 1/2 cup coconut (grated) 2 tbsp of coconut oil 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 5-6 curry leaves 1/2 cup water A pinch of hing (assadoetida) 1 tsp of mustard seeds Salt to taste

Almond Chutney Recipe Step 1

Add the soaked almonds to a blender along with water and blend till a smooth paste is formed.

Almond Chutney Recipe Step 2

Add chillies, grated coconut and salt to this mixture. Grind everything together for 2-3 minutes till all the spices are well combined.

Almond Chutney Recipe Step 3

Heat coconut oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, asafoetida, curry leaves and red chillies. Saute till aromatic.

Almond Chutney Recipe Step 4

Mix the almond paste well with the roasted ingredients. This chutney goes great with dosa or idli and tastes delicious to eat.
